After posting my car on Autotrader and Craigslist, I began receiving multiple calls from a company called Vehicle Stars. I had told them I wasn’t interested, but they had persisted despite my wishes for them to stop calling. Finally one day, I had listened to the salesman more than I should have. He had told me that I had a “high interest vehicle” and that it would only take “2 weeks to sell, guaranteed”. The salesman explained that they make their money off the vehicle financing rather than the $500 down-payment I had to surrender before the car was even sold, and the down-payment would be returned “no questions asked” if in the 90 day period my car was still not sold. Lastly, they sweetened the deal by telling me that they could sell my car at a much higher price – $500 above Kelley Blue Book. Desperate for money at the time and with a lack of interest on the other sites, I decided to give Vehicle Stars a shot. I thought, “Hey, it will only be two weeks and worst comes to worst, I will get my money back”. How naïve I was.
Weeks and weeks had passed, and time and time again I would call demanding a response as to why my car was not sold. I would argue with “my personal agent” who I later discovered was only a scam artist paid to lure people into this joke of a website. The representatives would send me in circles whenever I had called, and when I asked for the agent who sold me on this idea, they would respond with, “He is with another client right now. Can he call you back later?” Sure, but they would NEVER call. Autotrader called me more with updates on my car, and they don’t even offer that service. VEHCIEL STARZ HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, PERIOD!
Finally, the 90 days had passed and my money would be returned. I made sure to follow their “contract” rules to every detail so that they could not screw me once again like they did on everything else. I sent away for my down-payment to be returned via certified mail showing title in my possession, and to my surprise, I still have not received my money! It has been over 3 months, and while I call and complain, they give me the ol’ run-around. FUCK YOU VEHICLE STARZ, and thank God for this site giving hope for us to score redemption. If you take one thing from these posts, then let it be known that VEHICLE STARS IS A HUGE SCAM, & THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY OR YOUR CALLS.

I concur with everything this poster said. They gave me the EXACT same sales pitch, word for word. In 90 days I got zero phone calls on my car. I even sent people to them who were looking for financing and they were told that Vehicle Stars can’t help and they should go through their own bank. I followed the return steps and after 8 weeks they told me the return had been approved and a check would be mailed out. That was 7 weeks ago and still nothing. THESE PEOPLE ARE COMPLETE LIARS AND THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I would also like to know who the owner is if anyone has more info on the company.

We would like to here your story too. We want to know who the owner is and track them so that when they change their name again we can immediately find out their new name and warn people.
Their refusing to finance anyone is very good grounds for a law suite, do you have the conversations recorded?
Waiting weeks to get your money back guarantee??? Try fucking 8 months…and these scam artists continue to give me the run around. Absolutely a P.O.S. joke…Everything the above posts say is bang on!! Not one phone call even though I had a high demand vehicle. When I got “sold” on this shit, my personal agent apparently had buyers already lined up for it! What a joke…his name is Cody Campbell…stay away from this scam!!!!
